GNSS and machine control services are the half of the job the hardware does not do. A rover or an excavator system only earns its price once the drawings are on it, the control is in it, and the crew knows what the numbers on the screen mean. We do that work for the equipment we sell, and the data work for equipment we do not.
What we do
- Machine control data prep: design surfaces, linework and site calibration for the excavator, from your DWG, Civil 3D or PDF plans. For the XFIX EX30, and as LandXML and DXF for Trimble, Topcon and Leica machines.
- GPS data prep: control, stakeout points and lines, localization and coordinate systems for the rover, loaded and tested on the controller.
- Design and takeoff: a 3D model and quantities from 2D drawings, for bidding and for the machine.
- Installation, training and support: fitted on your machine, three months of online training with every kit, in-person packages, emergency calls answered 24 hours a day.
How it works
- Send the drawings and the control to contact@stratuspositioning.ca, and say which system they are for. See what we take and what each system expects.
- We reply with a price and a turnaround for that job. Prices are per job; there is no subscription.
- We build the files, open them on the device they are for, and send them, or load them for you.
- If something is wrong on site, you call. Emergency calls are answered 24 hours a day.
The people doing the work run the same equipment on our own survey jobs through Stratus Geomatics, so the files are built by someone who has stood in the trench with the rover, not only at the desk.
