How these comparisons are built
- Specifications come from each maker’s current datasheet, with the conditions attached. They are published figures, not results from a side-by-side test.
- Prices are ours in CAD before tax, as shown on the product pages. A competitor’s price appears only when we found it published, with the source and the date we checked. Where a brand is sold by dealer quote only, we say so.
- What you give up is stated plainly. The big three have dealer networks, deep software and resale value that a value brand does not match.
